How we work
How a year at ALTHE unfolds
Six steps, each with a timeframe. Not because an accountancy firm loves procedures, but because you want to know where you stand.
The process
- 01
Introductory meeting
an hour, no obligationAt your premises or at ours. We look at your current administration, your legal form and what the coming years have in store. Bring your most recent annual accounts; that makes the conversation concrete from the start.
- 02
Proposal
within a weekYou get it in writing: what we will do, who supplies what, and what it costs per year. No open ends, no hourly billing you only hear about afterwards.
- 03
Setting up
two to four weeksWe set up the administration or take it over from your previous accountant. Checking the opening balance, connecting the software, arranging authorisations with the Dutch Tax Administration. From that moment on, we keep track of the deadlines.
- 04
Throughout the year
ongoingReturns go out on time. You receive interim figures whenever you need them, for instance for a financing application. And if you run into something, you call; there is no meter running.
- 05
Year-end close
after the financial year endsThe annual accounts are compiled, the abridged accounts are filed with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and the corporate income tax return is submitted.
- 06
The conversation
yearlyThe part it is all about for us. We go through the figures with you: what is going well, what stands out, which investment is sound, and what that means for the year ahead.

An introductory meeting takes an hour and commits you to nothing. Afterwards you will know exactly what switching would mean.
